Like some other posters here I am considering using MediaMVP in conjunction with GB-PVR. As far as I understand it, MediaMVP just connects to your home network and can stream in video and music (to your TV, stereo) from another computer on the network with the MediaMVP software installed. I'm confused as to how this works with GB-PVR. I assumed the way this worked was that you would use GB-PVR on your computer to set up schedules for recording shows, the computer would record them into mpeg format, and you would use the MediaMVP to stream the mpeg video from your computer hard drive to your TV. Is this correct? I saw another post that seemed to say that you could use the GB-PVR interface instead of the MediaMVP interface...does this mean you can use the GB-PVR interface on your TV screen? How would this work? Could you use the MediaMVP remote on the GB-PVR interface?

Yes, you see the full GB-PVR interface on the MVP. Take a look at http://www.gbpvr.com/screenshots.htm for screenshots. This is what you'd get on your TV.

And could you use the MediaMVP remote control on the GB-PVR interface (which is on the tv)?

I just installed one yesterday, its great, and much better if you run GB-PVR on it. Amazing little thing, with a nice picture output.

If you have a pvr-250 / 350 you can even watch and pause live TV. FF and Rew works as well too, most of the time.

Cant beat it for the price, so much quieter than having a PC next to the TV too.

Do you have to have the pvr-250/350 to be able to watch live TV with this setup? How about with, say, a Avermedia m150?

Yes you use the MediaMVP remote control to control it. It'd probably work with the m150, but I havn't tried it personally.
