Automatic EPG Fails, Manual Works

Hi,

I'm not sure how recently this started, but have noticed it over the last few weeks with some stuff coming back onto UK TV that I wish to record.

My EPG isn't getting automatically updated, but when I manually press the "Update EPG" button, it happily goes away and gets a week's worth of guide.


I'm running 4.2.4 on Windows Server 2016, with a HDHomeRun Connect Quattro tuner.

I've attached my logs in case it casts any light.


I can't remember whether this was a brand new installation, or whether I migrated it from an older machine (where I was using a BlackGold BGT-3620 which was installed directly into the machine) - I think now it might have been a migration so I didn't need to re-configure my list of shows I record...

You forgot to attach the logs.

So I did! I browsed to the file, but neglected to hit the "Add Attachment" button!

It looks like a couple of Microsoft components started having problems about a month ago:

2019-09-08 15:25:00.242 [DEBUG][45] FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: Microsoft Network Provider
2019-09-08 15:25:00.263 [DEBUG][45] FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: Microsoft DVBT Network Provider

Why? I have no idea. Maybe a Windows Update interfered with components that had already been loaded.

I suspect if you'd restarted the recording service in that time, or rebooted, it would have come right.

I've rebooted my machine (it did want to install some Windows Updates too), so will see how it goes over the next few days
