This should be working now.

Yes it is, thanks Smile

What do you mean? If you're referring to the WSIWYG editor you get by default when replying, I've personally switched to 'source mode', which lets me break up quoted posts etc. This might be what you're talking about. This can be set this in your profile, with the tickbox at the bottom of this page:
https://forums.nextpvr.com/usercp.php?action=options[/quote]

I mean a button "Reply" to go to a complete reply, not the "quick reply".

As a workaround, i can go to the advanced reply editor by using the "Quote" button or start writing in "Quick reply" and use "Preview" button.

Yes, you can edit posts. I think it's just the permissions in the 'NPVR Announcements' forums that disallowed edits here.

Ok.

Thanks.

Some error in my last message, it could be useful to be able to edit it, even in this NPVR Annoucements forum.

My last reply is joined to my previous post; this one will be too. I don't find it convenient, do you ?

You should be able to edit your posts in these thread. (It basically stuffed up some of the permissions for some user groups when it imported from the old forum database)

I'm able to edit everything, so didn't notice.

I'm trying to work out how disable that.

It should now stop merging successive posts. Previously it'd merge them if you were the next poster, and posted within 30 minutes.

Will there be any notification of new messages received, or will I have to constantly check my inbox?

Huh How does one navigate to the first unread post in a thread? I can't find anything to do that.

Thanks.

I have the same question as jcole998.

How do you open a thread at the "First Unread" position? All I can find now is to click the name of the thread, which always kicks me to post #1. Then I have to scroll through and try to figure out which posts I've already read, in order to read the "new" ones. Sad

Will the Wiki be returning? Comes up as not found at the moment.
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

Soon after switching everyone over to the new forum, I encountered a problem, and ended up having reload the data from the old forum, which had the server out of action for several hours (and unfortunately there were a handful of the most recent posts deleted during this process) . This is likely what you saw.

I tried to make sure things would go smoothly, but sometimes technology conspires against you...

Fingers crossed, it should all up and running correctly now.

Not a big deal Sub. Just wanted to make sure you knew about it, just in case. It was pretty crazy there for a while.
