Channles loosing EPG data

OK everyone,
Perhaps someone is in the same boat as I am.  For some time now my IPTV provider has been doing something crazy with their EPG data.  I will have EPG data for all of my channels one day then the next day the EPG data for some channels will go missing.  The only way to fix this is to delete my channels within NextPVR and re import the channels and EPG url's.  
I have tried looking at the data within the db3 file and cannot see how to fix this.

You could make an UpdateEPG.bat, and in there download the listings from your IPTV provider to a text file. This would at least look at what you're getting from your IPTV provider.

The only way to fix this is to delete my channels within NextPVR and re import the channels and EPG url's.  

Wait, so you actually have to delete the channel and reimport them to get the EPG back? Sounds like your IPTV provider is changing the channel ids they're using.

As suggested above - this will at least let you check what's happening. ie, when you stop getting data from a specific channel, we can look in the database to see what channel id they were previously using, and check if there is any listings in the new file for that id, or check if they've changed it to a different id.

How would I go about making an updateEPG.bet file?

You need to do some research on using and configuring XMLTV files with NextPVR

Then create a batch file that downloads your file and saves it in scripts\UpdateEPG.bat

As an example using curl which comes with Window your one line file would be (using the url you type in the configuration)

curl url -o C:\User\Public\NPVR\Scripts\tvguide.xml

(use -k if it if https)

Where you typed the epg url in the IPTV setup type C:\User\Public\NPVR\Scripts\tvguide.xml
