Hi. I am running  NextPVR 4.2.5 on Windows 10 PC and it works great. I decided to purchase the Android app and have installed it on both my Shield and my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus (Android 9) and it is doing the same thing on both devices.  When I start the Android App, it connects to the server and loads up the GUI navigation buttons but doesn't populate with any further information and just locks up on this screen.  If I go to my web browser on my PC and browse to 127.0.0.1:8867 I can access everything fine. I changed the port because 8866 wasn't working at all.  Could this be an issue with the app?  I did delete it and reinstall on my phone and added the server again and just got the same result.

If I look in channels under settings it appears as  if there are 40,285 channels in the list. Wow. LOL Is that a problem?

Yeah, it's probably related to that.

You're never going to watch the majority of those. Most people are never going watch more than 100 or so of the main channels. I'd start will a mass cull of those channels you know you wont need. This will probably fix your problem, and in general make your system much snappier since it'll have a much smaller database.

There's also an option in Setup->Clients to not Send VOD Groups which might be part of the trouble.

True - a lot of those might be VOD streams.
