Hey All,

Super frustrated. I finally got this to work, or so I thought, but now it looks my iptv account keeps disappearing from the device list and I have no idea why. I'm unable to schedule any recordings or do anything else at all. Attached is a log. Hopefully someone can help!

Thanks!

I should also add that when it is up and I am able to schedule a recording, it doesn't work and I get the following error "[Failed: Recording service not running at recording time]"

Was it running at recording time, and was the machine awake? On Windows can wake a machine when recordings are due to start. It can't wake a mac (yet), so it's up to you to ensure the machine is available and awake.

If you think it was running, and should have been able to record, post the logs and let me know what time the recording was supposed to happen and I'll take a look. Alternatively, schedule recording of a show that starts soon, and watch what happens.

Now I was able to get a recording to go through, but it still didn't work and now says "[Failed: No errors, but no data delivered. This is usually because the device failed to lock a signal.]"

Thanks for your help

The device was definitely on and running as I was still using it. I tried again as indicated by my previous post and had that other error. Here are the logs.

I did find this error in your logs, which could possibly explain the missing device and recording not happening:

Quote:2019-12-22 21:15:30.753 [ERROR][47] Microsoft.Data.Sqlite.SqliteException (0x80004005): SQLite Error 5: 'database is locked'.
at Microsoft.Data.Sqlite.SqliteException.ThrowExceptionForRC(Int32 rc, sqlite3 db)
at Microsoft.Data.Sqlite.SqliteCommand.ExecuteReader(CommandBehavior behavior)
at NUtility.Channel.LoadForCaptureSource(Int32 forCaptureSourceOID, Int32 channelOID)
ie, the database was locked by something, and other activities (like loading the scheduled recording list, or device list) would have failed during this time.

I haven't explicitly seen it before, but I suspect it might have had something to do with your EPG update having happened soon before then. The database might have been tied up saving 10 of thousands of tv listings. Maybe try restarting, and let it complete an EPG update before using it. From then on, let it do it's EPG update in the middle of the night when you're not trying to use it.

Is that channel working - it's pretty common for IPTV channels to be unavailable from time to time.

Hmm not totally sure I'm following, but I'm going to give it a restart. I'll let you know what happens when I return
