OK, VLC plays fine, once the MRL syntax is correct.

I'm getting the same pixelated mess with the desktop app on my test box using HDHR3-CC. Works fine in v4, and the HDHomerun Viewer.

Happens to me too.

Only when I am running the Nextpvr Service, if I stop the service and run NextpvrServer.exe live tv is ok.

Sub and I are testing permissions issues today related to the service.

I'm hopeful today's 5.0.1.191224 release will fix your pixilation issues. (which was related to a permission error with some device types, on the shared resources between nextpvr.exe and the server)

What kind of delay do you have set for your HDPVR family capture tuning, that is really slow starting up?
