Kodi live tv crashing back to main NextPVR dashboard

I want you to confirm that the issue is with extended timeshift since it is enabled.

With time shift I haven’t been able to recreate the issue.

One other point, with extended time shift enabled I now see a buffer after a few seconds followed by a crash back to the epg a little later, neither happens with only time shift enabled.

this pretty much sounds like the exact issue I’m having. Although I’ll try with time shift off when I get home

Thanks that confirms what I have been investigating. There is an uninitiated variable in extended timeshift which is likely causing this issue on an Android compile. I will have to test with a debugger.

Got home this evening and set Kodi up for logging. Turned off extended time shift. And started watching tv. The problem hasn’t reoccurred.
