You might need to a add a tilda ~ in the config.xml line. If you don't get it as an option on the scan then no point in continuing.

Maybe copy the contents of the extras file that you using to make sure it is correct.

Try again, then post the logs. Make sure you zip the logs using the 'Log Files' button on the Settings->About screen, otherwise the most recent log messages may not be flushed to disk.

Try again. As flushed from the server GUI:

When you go to the Settings->Devices screen, and click your Extras device, then click 'Scan Channels' you should see the popup. In the Guide drop down you should select your XMLTV file, then hit 'Scan'. After this you should see the list of channels it read from your xmltv file.

If that doesn't work. Zip and attach your Extras xml file and xmltv file and I'll try them here.

Ok - some progress :o)))

...rebooting the server and then refreshing the EPG did the trick in terms of my IPTV device. I won't mention again, however I can now see a valid channel and valid EPG data, so we at least know my XMLTV is in a valid format. Now we just need to work out why the extras device is looking for the wrong type of EPG data. I will do another logs dump and repost. One minute...

...looking at that log, to me it looks as though there is still something missing in that requires amending in config.xml, as the extras device is still expecting a schedulesdirect account for some reason...

Martin

Hi - apologies, I had to go out last night. Below are some pasteboard screen grabs of my NPVR server. I've stopped and restarted the server more than once to log back in and am still having issues:

...the last image where it is showing an SD username and password populated...that is Chrome auto populating the NPVR server login credentials, not an actual valid account. I don't know how relevant that is...
