Best way to watch while recording?

What is the most reliable, least buggy way to watch a nextPVR recording while it's recording?

If there any problems with Kodi and PVR addon v3.3.18 open a support thread with debug logs.

NextPVR V4 on Windows is the most reliable way I have found to watch in progress recordings.

I've never gotten the Kodi+NextPVR addon to work reliably for watching in progress recordings. I tried NextPVR V5 + V3.3.18 on live recordings and it randomly kicks back to the menu.

Kodi playback will certainly not get better without user logs.
