Stream of video from work had no issues other than being too choopy to watch....my up speed is a measly 384kbs and I average about 330.....much too slow for streaming video.

Apologies if this has been covered before, I did search a bit and it appears only to have been relevant to using it across a server, which I do not have, but I too have had a problem, which is repeatable, with the Stastistics Tab.

Logging in via either of:
http://localhost:7647/gbpvr/Search.aspx
http://127.0.0.1:7647/gbpvr/Search.aspx

I can access each tab in turn, and PROVIDED I do NOT touch the Statistics Tab, I can "run up and down" and enter each tab and always get into the page and bview and change things, I can even log out and back in again, all OK.

However as soon as I try to enter the Statistics Tab, that's it, I can no longer access ANY of the other tabs (it just stays on teh page I was in before I tried the S tab). I can't even log out, I have to exit the window or simply choose back. I can login again OK afterwards.

Could thgis be related to my current TEST setup at work which has no Tuners and Thus No recordings, thus NO Statistcs. It is setup mainly to test things like plugins and the EPG etc. I have not tried it at home.

Latest v 0.26.

Cheers

k.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned, and I'm sure it probably has, but I can't find it:

When I tell a program to record "on this channel in this time slot," I often get other timeslots (and hence repeated recordings) recorded as well. It happens alot with "adult swim" shows on cartoon network.

For instance, I choose this sunday's episode of "stroker and hoop," and tell it to record "this episode in this timeslot." It then selects this sunday's episode, and then all episodes every sunday after that - but it also chooses the repeats that play on friday. I've tried the new build - doesn't help. Any suggestions?

The timeslot is daily. It'll record any show with same name, at this same time of day, on any day of the week.

Oh... has that been requested to be changed anywhere? If not I'll put in a request. I'd like to be able to specify what days in that timeslot, for sure. Otherwise, I get repeats.

I'll probably install rectracker to keep it from recording repeats, but still, I'd like to have the ability to specify what days.

You could always schedule the recording inside GB-PVR which will let you specify a daily or weekly timeslot.

Well yeah, I could, but I typically use the web admin. That's a temporary solution, but I actually don't run the interface very much. For me it's easier to just use the web admin, as I schedule alot of my recordings from work anyway.

I'm sure it'll updated in the future, but I couldn't tell you when.

I made a request for the web admin to support handling the "keep number of recordings" feature a while back as well. This feature is very similar, in that it is just keeping the web interface up-to-date with the features of the regular UI.

I'm sure these guys will get to it... Thanks for everyone's work again!

I am trying to find where in the GBPVR windows interface you set the "keep number of recordings" option. Is it done via the Config or is this a setting that needs set in config file outside of the interface?

I am sure it is some place simple but I just can't find it....Smile
