Could someone explain how the FF/RW functionality is SUPPOSED to work please? I'm trying to understand how to pose my next question if in fact it's a bug compared to how it's actually working on my machine.
Right now, when i hit the FF button, it doesn't really do much of anything but pause a split second, then continue with no audio (discovered that gb-pvr auto sets the WAVE volume to 0 by itself, every time, and have to manually bring up volume and click the level back up again), it doesn't skip back at all, no matter how many times i hit the button after each other. And "Software MPEG-2 Playback", changing any choice filters doesn't seem to impact at all of this happening.
Now, when i use the "Use short skip instead of FF/RW", it still accomplishes what i need it to do, just not the same that a video player NORMALLY does it. So it's not a real big deal, but i would like to know if FF/RW is supposed to actually work, or do anything when in Timshift mode, or is it more for useage when playing back a video? If not, this is a bug with my setup. Using WinXP,PVR-250,Audigy2 card. All latest drivers using.
Thanx.
