Unable to revisit last watched channel

Hello, I've been using NextPVR for several months now and I've had this issue regarding channels. Upon launch I can view any channel, but after stopping live TV or after there's been a recording I cannot revisit that channel or any channels from the same broadcaster. If I view a different broadcasters channel I can then switch back to the first one, but not the second one.

I.e. I can do the following: ABC > SBS > ABC but not ABC > ABC or ABC > SBS > SBS.

I'm using Windows 10 64bit with a Playstation TV tuner that uses Pinnacle drivers.

Any help would be appreciated. Which logs do you want attached?

Sure. Shortly before I zipped these logs, I watched ABC twice, followed by SBS twice then ABC twice again.

Originally when I upgraded from W7 to W10 I tried NextPVR but couldn't get it to work. At first it was decoder issues, but even when I set them up it still wasn't working. It must have been the same problem I'm having now but I didn't realise it at the time. I gave up on NextPVR and tried some other PVR programs. They worked, but they didn't have some features that I wanted so I came back to NextPVR which I like, but I still want to solve this problem.

Yeah, that's a weird one - not really sure what to suggest on this. Looking at ABC->ABC, I can see the app going through the same steps, and no errors returned, but on the second attempt the device just fails to lock onto a signal. Given it's not happening for other users I can only guess it's some quirk of the driver for this device (ie, it doesn't like something about how NextPVR does it's thing, even though it works fine with other tuners).

I'd probably recommend trying NextPVR v5, and possibly the ticking the 'keep digital tuners primed' option.

Thanks, I'll give 5 a go. I considered trying NPVR 5, but saw that was still in beta and decided to ask for help with 4 first.

It's entirely possible that NPVR + PlayTV don't like each other, though I've found forums of people who aren't having my problem.

Do I need to disable/uninstall NPVR 4 before installing NPVR 5?

Uninstalling it is probably the cleanest approach.
