For what it's worth, when I had the problem I'm pretty sure it was caused by a new faulty installation of WIN 10.
I had no problem installing it on an existing WIN 10 PC.

If you create "C:\Program Files\NextPVR" manually as admin first does it continue?

No, I even added the zip contents to C:\Program Files\NextPVR and still just stuck on Installing files. License agreement doesn't come up, nothing.

JimW, does installing the .NET framework from the following URL help get the installer working?
