I enabled them by playing a show, then right click and turning them on for that show. Is that the only enabling there is?
If so, yes, I can then post a log.

Logs attached.
FYI, 5.0 Windows says they are in Web app, General, but they are in About.

I think I can see why it's not working.
You could try starting a command prompt with 'run as administrator', then changing in the NextPVR\client directory, and running: regsvr32 NPVRCCSource.ax regsvr32 NPVRCCExtractor.ax regsvr32 NPVRCCDump.ax The restart the app and try again. Let me know how you get on.

It worked! Thank you.
I have some cleanup questions. Can I remove the Users\Public\NPVR folder since that seems to be from v4 but did not get uninstalled when I ran Uninstall? The NPVR-data folder would remain. Also, in Program Files (x86) the PVR folder seems to just be NTray and 2 dlls. Can that be removed? I am interested in using another PC on my network to share the recordings and schedule. Given the web interface, is there a simple list of instructions to access the data on the server? Thank you.

The Program Files (x86) entry is probably still there because the NextPVR tray app didn't close properly at the time of the uninstall ... You can delete this folder ... Again I suggest a rename for a few weeks. I have been able to use the web app on other devices by typing name:8866 into the browser address bar where name is the name of the computer running NextPVR Server V5. .

I'll try this later today. Thx.
Edit - Tried it, worked great, thanks again. Also worked wirelessly. Also renamed the two subdirectories and we'll see if anything blows up. Appreciate all the help. |
