Im unable to set the decoders in V5 I get an error

Also on a side not Im running on an AMD R7 GPU is there a way to use AMD for GPU decoder rather than DX11?

When it comes to decoders, I'm sure there are decoders you could choose which support your AMD GPU. For example, the LAV decoder.

FYI, the decoders are only ever used if you're watching in nextpvr.exe. They're not used if you're using other clients.

If you're interested in encoders, which are used if you're watching in the web app, we don't natively support AMD GPU (since I don't have one here to test with), but the D3D11VA option should world.

I sorted it after installing V4 first so the VCRuntimes install then installed V5

OK Ill have a go at installing some?

So I assume the NVIDIA GPU decoder option in the dropdown where NVIDIA & DX11 are what codec is the NVIDIA option using just out of interest as i have another machine that has an NVIDIA card in so thats what i chose in the dropdown.  For the codec specific decoders that im fine with i know how that works its just it threw me as the Top dropdown has Intel, NVidia and DX11 but no AMD so i wanted to find out why AMD was missing and how i can fix??

What you're describing here are "ENcoders" not "decoders". Very different.

Encoders are used in NextPVR to convert video into a format that can be played in a web browser. As mentioned earlier, I don't have an AMD GPU, so I haven't added a specific AMD encoder option, but you should be able to utilize the AMD GPU with the D3D11VA option. If you're watching in nextpvr.exe, or kodi, or most other client options - these play the native stream, so no encoding is needed. (ie, this setting will only be important for you if you're intending to watch in the web app)
