missing audio decoders

Hi All

I have nextpvr 5.2.5 (220111) installed on 2 Windows 10 Pro x64 PC's. One of the PC's shows 5 audio decoders the other PC only shows 2 decoders; this means when I get the error 'missing audio? you don't have an AAC decoder selected' I can't select an AAC decoder as the option isn't listed! The only audio codecs listed are MPEG1 Audio & AC3 Audio. Any suggestions how to install the missing E-AC3 Audio, AAC Audio & HE-AAC Audio?

They aren't missing since NextPVR doesn't come with decoders. Install LAV here https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters...taller.exe and ensure you install the 32 bit decoders. The configure them in NextPVR.exe settings.

Tried installing LAV decoders but still only 2 decoders listed in settings! (I've still got the missing AAC decoder message on some recording playbacks with LAV decoders selected for MPEG1 Audio & AC3 Audio)

Did you install the 32 bit version?

As long as you haven't unticked the '(x86)' versions of the decoders when running the installer from https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters...taller.exe, then you should have the LAV decoder list as an option for all decoder types.

Are you running with large fonts? If so set them to 100% and you might get the whole dialog.

So, if I'm understanding your problem, you aren't seeing the options circled in red in this screen capture, correct?

That sounds like your screen resolution is too small or you have the font size > 100%.

I'm not getting this setting page, like you, I'm missing the last 3 decoder options

And that is at 100% Also the audio renderer should be default for NextPVR.
