Recordings Are Always Size Zero

Hi, I just wanted to post this error when clicking in tv guide because I see it a lot now.  I have to close NextPvR and reopen to clean this up.  How it happens....usually when I go from live tv back to the tv guide screen.

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
  at NextPVR.TV.TVGuide.OnClick(PointF location)
  at NextPVR.ControllerForm.ControllerForm_MouseClick(Object sender, MouseEventArgs e)

Realistically, it's unlikely I'd look into this in v4. Is there any reason you're not using the current v5?

For the most part with v4, the only support you're really getting is diagnostic stuff. ie, we'll look at logs, and advise if recordings aren't working because of x (like faulty tuner, or permissions error etc). If there were real bugs in NextPVR, not this type of environmental stuff, and it needed fixes, those fixes are only going to happen in v5.

Version 5 on windows 7 64 hangs up on the install and nothing happens.

Create a C:\Temp folder and rerun the NextPVR Server install ... you should find an install.txt file in the Temp folder ... Post the content of that log or attach the file to a post.  Thanks.

So my theory was right.... After cleaning out the scheduling, everything returned to normal. I just have to figure out what is it that I do which causes the zero recording and avoid it. That can only happen in time.

Anyways, no fix since version 5 is out but I'm wondering... Could the same issue be lingering in version 5.... I'm going to just stick with version 4 since I have it installed, it works and I know what to do if I get zero recordings again.

I guess this is case closed.
