If you've done a DVB scan and found a pile of channels, it's for filtering channels groups. ie, you might only want to exclude radio channels, or only keep the TVNZ and Media works channels (which are the main channels in NZ). If I untick 'Digital Radio', then all the radio channels untick in the main list.
@Martin & sub, 2 questions:
1) I apologize, it's my mistake, the real problem is this:
with the new v.5, performing a new scan (All Countries-All regions) I cannot find the receivable channels in my area on the 546MGh frequency (the attached screenshot incorrectly shows 514).
it is the national RAI mux 2 and visible to any tuner.
I also tried to manually scan the single frequency but it doesn't actually catch anything.
I think it can be a bug and I can't say if it was already same in v.4.
2) I would like to ask you how to save the channel set in a file so that you can subsequently re-import it.
@sub: ok for the filter, but it is not clear what happens to the excluded channels, by clicking Save are lost? if it is so it's better to create "preferrred" groups in Advanced Tools.

If you want to do that scan, then post the log files, I'll take a look.

There is no function to do that. I may add it in the future.

They're not saved. ie, thrown away.

It does that too. You can just save all channels, and then just use the groups to filter which ones you see. It's up to you to decide which approach you prefer to use.

Here the zip: opened npvr, scanned manual 546, 0 found, exit.
