Hi im running the latest version on windows10 and see 'Version: 5.0.4.200427  (5.0.4.200428 is available for download)' on the settings/about page of the web app, re-downloading and install makes no difference.

I just tried on a clean machine, and it's just showing "Version: 5.0.4.200428".

If you open your C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\config.xml file, what the CurrentVersion and BuildDate at the top of the file?

<CurrentVersion>5.0.4</CurrentVersion>
<BuildDate>200428</BuildDate>

Is it possible you are running the old installer that downloaded from beta rather than stable?

I'm wondering if he's using the 32bit build, and maybe I didn't update the installer to the very latest on the day? (because I had another build the day before that I was originally intending to make public)

I can't check it on the server right now though.

When you run the installer, and it's first step is downloading the zip file, does it say "stable/win64/NPVR.zip" or "stable/win32/NPVR.zip"? it doesn't say "beta/..." etc does it?

32 bit is the 28th.

What about the answer to my question?
