tuners appear, can't scan channels

DCR-3250. all three devices appear. when I scan any one, I get a list of all 588 channels in device. there is no button for a seemly exit, so I hit the upper right hand corner 'X' and return to the devices page. shows no channels. Am I doing something wrong?

After our previous posts (1 second recordings) i decided to completely uninstall Windows Media Center and NPVR and start over. I removed WMC because it did not see my tuners. I went to the NPVR download page to get a new installer, although after downloading it, I saw it was the same as the first one. After installing, I went to the devices page, with the results as above.

After the scan ... scroll to the end of the list of 588 channels and click on ... Save

Our may untick all and add the channels you actually want to add and then click save.

There is no save button, which was the first thing I looked for. I will try unticking channels to see if that changes anything.

Ticked the last ten channels. The save button did not appear.

Are you sure the scan finished? On some devices they are very very slow.

Unticked all channels individually. No save button. Found out that unticking the number button at the top unticks all channels. Used the number button to tick all channels. No save button. Used the number button to untick all channels. No save button.

mvallevand just saw your reply. as soon as I hit the scan button, I am taken to the bottom of the list. No delay.

Correction : hit scan am taken to top of list, no delay. tried with no epg, tried with the XMLTV I use. still no save button.

What browser are you using?
