It looks like the device is detected. If got to the http://127.0.0.1:8866/settings.html page, and click 'Devices', is it listed there?

The setup is now done in the web app, not the Settings screen in nextpvr.exe. The settings screen in nextpvr.exe is just for client settings, like decoders to use in nextpvr.exe etc.

Yeah.... I've tried that many times. No go. Won't even show me anything. Or even anything from the Channel tab/button. Click either one and I get nothing. Stays on the screen what ever I clicked to view. prior.

Edit 1:
As for the Channels TAB/button up top I can click. Again though there is now device in status. Maybe another call was used for win8. Possible.

Try pressing Ctrl-F5 in the browser, to force the browser to refresh. (it might cause the login page to show)

Logged in, Logged out, CTRL-F5'd, F5'd, Clicked Device status button on Web. Nothing. Can only see "no" device in the Device Status window from the Tray.

The tray app only shows devices with channels attached if that makes any difference.

Yep, what he said - entirely normal until you've setup channels on your device.

Close your browser, restart NextPVR, open your browser, go to the Settings->Devices web page, then post your logs, and I'll check what's happening.

That's all fine and dandy, but if a person freshly installs, and doesn't have any channels that they can import from a prior setup(V4) you can't access it to set it up. Even importing npvr.db3 I still can't Click Device on the Web interface.

Web App still has NO joy. Can not see the device, or interact. w/e is which. Or, the Channels.

Now. I read in another post about saving the .DB3 and moving it from NPVR to the NPVR-data folder. Uninstall doesn't wipe them. I'm able to see the device now. Though as I stated with someone that hasn't even installed previous versions are going to have a hell of a time. Rebooting the PC hangs the Tray app.

Tray app can see the device, and see channels. I can also access it through Kodi on another PC. No joy on Server(Main) PC for the Web App. I'm using Win7 Explorer 11.

The log is with the Tray has joy. Web App no joy.

Remember you are using Windows 7 which is no longer supported by Microsoft and it has been subject to close to zero testing by the beta test group. What you are experiencing is not normal.

Do you even have an clear QAM available?
