New repository for KNEWC and X-NEWA

The knewc and x-newa addons are now to be find via github.   Not only should this be easier for me to manage but the source is https so we will stop seeing warnings in the Kodi logs.

For those of you using the old repository on 000webhost (v1.0.6)  you will need to install the new zip file and Kodi will update knewc for you to the new version 2.8.0

I just downloaded the new repository file 1.07 using Github but v2.8.0 is not listed so downloaded the 2.8.0 zip file instead.

The repository shouldn't list versions, you need to update the repository and then Kodi will get the updates.

I have used the old xnewa.netai path for many years, but the add-on only goes to 2.7.4 and I have forgotten how navigating to the plugin repository works.
I did read your how-to post https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid463553 here but I had thought with the correct path that the repo would ALSO update automatically, not just the add-on? The instructions "https://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on_manager#How_to_install_add-ons_from_a_repository" say "To install an add-on or repository from a zip file"?

With this is mind I tried to add an https:// path (i.e. https://github.com/emveepee/X-NEWA/raw/master/ as attached) in Kodi File Manager then tried to navigate to that directory to locate the repository zip file (repository.nextpvr.kodi-plugins-1.07.zip) but it complains that it can't find that path. I also tried adding the full path but same result.

Presumably I just download the zip file instead and then browse to that actual zip file locally, add the repo, then navigate to the repo for the add-on?

I was in a bit of rushed figuring out how to use github and I don't have things setup for my repo and so you need to download the zip. I figure that was how most people use it.

Because I will need to update the repo for Matrix (Kodi v19) I will try and put a bit of effort into getting the repo for the repo working too.

Was just cleaning up repositories on my RPi2 setup and was wondering if I should keep this one (still nothing when you go to it) or whether you will add a new one for Matrix?

There will be a new zip when Matrix is added to the existing repo and I am not sure if I will create a URL to it or not. You might as well delete that one.
