Higher bitrate videos buffer on direct play

Using the Android client, higher bitrate recordings will pause and buffer away from my home network on direct play.  Is there a way to increase the buffer size?

Ultimately this is just going to come down to your network not keeping with the amount of data you're trying to send. There isn't a NextPVR option that is going to fix that, other than disabling direct play. (then you'll get the stream transcoded to a lower bitrate, and more buffering etc)
