Right-click menu doesn’t have a PIP select option?
Some of the user guides give info for PIP
But there isn’t a PIP option in the right click menu (under live tv)
Some guide screen shots show it being there, some do not?
Setup recognizes both tuners (dual tuner).
Did manual channel scans for both tuners.
Uses tuner 1 on windows client startup. When I change channels - the new channel starts in tuner 2.
Thanks for making a great product
It works better than WinTV (other than the PIP function).

PIP is not there in V5 at this stage. V4 did have it.

This usual way to do it would be to scan one tuner, then accept it's offer to copy the setup to the second tuner. This way you end up with one set of channels available from either tuner.

I think with manually setting up both tuners, you've got a set of channels on tuner 1, and a different set of channels on tuner 2 (even though the channels have the same name). You're probably switch from a channel only on tuner 1, to a channel only on tuner 2.

For most people PIP is just a novelty they use like once or twice, then never again, so it wasn't high on my v5 priority list.

Multiple tuners are more useful for recording multiple channels, or recording and live tv at the same time etc.

v4 download is still there, but unless you really really want PIP, I'd stick with v5, which is a much better application in many ways.

I’ve found PIP very useful for antenna tuning - we have digital signals coming from several locations
I am using what is supposed to be an Omni Directional ant - but it still needs minor tweaking to get some channels
So I bring up two specific channels
(One main screen, one in PIP)
With signal strength monitoring
And rotate the antenna, to find the ‘point of compromise‘ where both channels tune in as well as possible.

It isn't too hard to open multiple streams with ffplay or vlc for tweaking. I do this on a laptop when I adjust my antenna and it is easier then NextPVR pip

I find PIP most useful when monitoring events delayed for any reason in the PIP portion while watching something else on the main portion.
