Missing EPG entries

I am using latest version of NPVR with a dual TBS DVB-S2 card which has been running satisfactorily until I updated too .04. I am now seeing gaps appearing in the EPG and even after I manually run an EPG update some channels return but others become blank:

After running a manual update:

I have tried emptying the EPG and manually running it again which does usually fill the listings but they then start to disappear over time. I also get small square boxes at either end of some listings (see Film 4 'Maze runner' for aan example). Logs attached.

Thanks for any help.

Yes, thank you, that appears to fix things.

I still have the small squares before and after the program name for the first couple of hours of the EPG but entries after that are OK.

For the small squares, if you wanted to use the evaluation version of TSCapture (https://tscapture.com) to capture a 1 minute full transport stream of that channel, and put the file somewhere like onedrive or dropbox, and let me know the download link, then I'll check it out.

Yes there are a lot of these "\u0086Maze Runner\u0087" for various shows which seem to be highlight characters.

Yeah, could be something like that.

Heuer, if you can supply either that full transport stream, or your npvr.db, I should be able to fix it.

Actually, you could see if this updated NShared.dll fixes it. You'll need to do an Empty EPG followed by an Update EPG.

This has come back to haunt me! Yesterday morning there were blanks against some channels (I only have 12) but I found if I ran a manual update they would be filled in apart from BBC 1 which came back after a second manual update. With a full week of EPG I was confident everything was OK until last night at just past 9 PM when I found the EPG had no listings prior to 10 PM (thus one program failed to record). I decided to run a manual scan which brought everything up to date but scattered through the rest of the EPG were instances of "no information available". I left it like that and this morning after the scheduled EPG update at 2:44 AM the EPG was back to normal.

I have Emby running an EPG update at 4 AM and 8 PM but I can't think the plugin would destroy the NPVR EPG. Logs attached but happy to provide a copy of my database or run TSCapture if that helps. I have tried emptying the EPG, restarting the NPVR server and rebooting the PC.

You could try increasing <EPGScanSeconds> in the config.xml to see if it helps with gaps.
