Yes, I was just wanting to see that everything started ok to verify my configuration was correct.

I got rid of the "shit" messages and some other test code and things look ok  in the attached.  Sometimes I test sub's api in this module and unfortunately I left some test code in.  It doesn't cause any harm unless you are easily offended reading logs, and because I used the API early, the messages could set to NPVR.log not to a NextEnd log.

Seeing this

2020-05-17 17:12:49.285 [DEBUG][1] Checking for recordings from 2020-05-17 17:35:00 to 2020-05-17 21:35:00
2020-05-17 17:12:49.289 [DEBUG][1] Nothing to monitor
2020-05-17 17:12:49.290 [DEBUG][1] Late night check
2020-05-17 17:12:49.290 [DEBUG][1] Checking for recordings from 2020-05-17 21:35:00 to 2020-05-18 00:35:00
2020-05-17 17:12:49.295 [DEBUG][1] Nothing to monitor

indicates the monitor code was working but you had nothing scheduled on the channel with the race to monitor.

Thanks for the explanation and for cleaning up the logs Martin. I do like it better without the 'colorful metaphors ' Wink

There is another NASCAR Cup race to be aired on Sunday so I'll try NextEnd with the Linux NextPVR setup this time.

Just finished installing NextEnd as posted in Post #1 and then created the scripts as instructed. As a test I ran an EPG update to see what happens at PostEPGUpdate time.

Logs attached and I have no idea if Nextend did what's expected.

Can you take a look, Martin? I'm getting ready for Sunday's NASCAR race.

You need to get rid of iGL.

It looks like you don't have dotnet 3.1 installed so you have to follow the setup part B All your batch files need to point to Program Files not the plugin folder.

If you schedule the race and repost the logs I can give you a test command line.

Thanks for taking a look, Martin.

- I do not know what iGL is. How do I get rid of it?

- I'll install dotNet 3.1.

- I used the scripts contained in NPVR5_Windows_Script_Templates.zip downloaded from the Wiki. I'm not sure how you wish these scripts to change. The scripts I'm using are attached.

Thanks for your help.

I am not going to try and debug user scripts but I just realized that sub's last minute decision to change the NextPVR folder changed how to run this from the plugins folder. I've updated the zip in post #1

Sorry, Graham, but I cannot find any instance of imageGrabLite.exe anywhere on my system. The closest match found was ImageGrabber.exe from Starburn Software.

The template you used referenced it and you didn't clean it out.
