Hii Sub,
we have a generic tickbox to "Avoid Duplicate Recordings Where Possible" in v5 settings however there are conditions where I would want to record duplicates, and other times where it's not wanted.
TV Shows - often many repeats and I have to manually remove the -0, -1, -2, -n files, so want to NOT keep duplicates
Movies - typically 1 or 2 repeats, usually differing bit rates based on time of day with DVB-C, so want to keep ALL duplicates until I put them in the DNR database table once cut and processed
Can you entertain an option to set duplicate recording avoidance in the advanced search mask? This would let me record duplicates for movies where I might have dropouts in the datastream, and ignore duplicates on tv shows where I am not as critical of the retention value.
Thanks,
Dane
