Crashing on certain TV channels on Kodi

For some reason, some channels work and then others crash.  I'm thinking it could be related to the channels being in 1080?  CBS and NBC crash for me.  I also tried playing a recording from one of those channels and the same thing happened.

On a different kodi front end I am not having any issues. Seems like the backed is recording them fine but when I try to watch using Ubuntu 20.xx and Kodi it seems to be happening.  Attached are the logs. Any ideas?

Make sure the kodi prebuffer time is 0 or 1 and then upload the kodi debug logs or put it on a pastebin site and provide the link.

Thanks. Could you now disable script.skin.helper.service since it seems to be having lots of trouble.

Does the url play outside kodi?

Yes! When I execute that command it plays no problem. Do you want the logs from that?

No but I'd like to see the Kodi logs when the bad script is removed.

Also does real time work?

Disabled the script and real time having the same results. Really strange

Ok when you say crash is Kodi actually crashing? This isn't a crash dump but it look like logging stops. If you have a crash log maybe post it too.

It looks like it might be crashing in your video driver

If you turn off h/w acceleration does it help?
