HDHomerun finding all channels except one.

First off, I tried searching the forums but no one has a problem quite like this that I could find. I set the HDHomerun Setup BDA compatibility mode to Mediaportal and Default with no change. 

I am in the USA using ATSC on Win7. HDHomerun DUAL.

When I run a channel scan on my HDHomerun tuners it finds all my channels but one. RF Channel 35 contains 4 broadcast channels but for some reason the app just skips right over them. I can see the channel in the homerun setup app so it's not the homerun hardware. I am using the BDE mode tuners because the HDHR device does not work, it just gives me a 'Failed to start requested stream' error when I try to view any channels on that device. I can get the ATSC BDE mode tuners to work, but they skip channel 35 for some reason, which is a major broadcaster in this area and the whole thing is pointless if I can't get that channel. The reception is 100% and like I said the HDHomerun setup app can see and receive that channel just fine. I can't find anywhere in the new web ingterface to manually add a channel, so I'm not sure if that's even possible any more. I have attached the latest log file if that helps at all. Thanks.

This is an older legacy device, which requires hdhomerun_config.exe.

It's probably a case of needing their "HDHomeRun Software For Windows" from https://download.silicondust.com/hdhomer...indows.exe, so that the following file is available to NextPVR:

C:\Program Files\Silicondust\HDHomeRun\hdhomerun_config.exe

I already have that installed. latest version too.

Maybe try this patch https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid541772 I am sure if that applies to HDHR BDA scan or not but it is likely related to H & I

Yes i can. that works just fine.

Yep - what Martin said... it's likely to do with that ampersand character. Try that patch.

okay, the patch allowed me to see the missing channel. now however I cannot view any of the channels. before the patch i could view all channels the scan could find. now when I try to view any channel from the web interface I get 'Starting device. Please Wait', then 'Receiving Data', then after a few seconds of data transfer, 'Streaming failed. Transcoder Exited'. Looks like the patch fixed one thing and broke another.
