Live TV jumps back when using extended timeshift

You didn't include you NextPVR logs but I'd say it is the source and since it is ffmpeg I don't think it's a tuner.

You were already on 3.2.20 and no this log doesn't go back that far. They do let me know you do use IPTV but I can't tell if NextPVR was doing transcoding or if it is your provider. Did you see a problem in Kodi with these current streams?

Really the only thing of note is your choice of EPG update

I don't know what your normal viewing and recordings are like but the update is supposed to be done at a quiet time. For me I can't imagine a worse time for an update in most household.

Today the problem occurred again. I changed the setting from Extended Timeshift to Realtime and the problem still occurred. After that I switched to MyIPTV Player (program is available in the Microsoft Store) and there the problem didn't occur. This would suggest the problem isn't in the source but in NextPVR. Today the problem appeared to me as well. What I did was that I had paused the channel and then resumed. It continued playing normally but then I tried to move it forward to skip some commercials and then suddenly it went back when it started originally!

I thankfully had already setup kodi to generate debug log so I am uploading kodi and nextpvr logs.

This happened between 22:10 - 22:30 today.

Also Kodi has some strange behavior when resuming from the box screen saver (Android TV). It does not display the previous and last buttons, only pause, stop, and record...as if there was no timeshift.... but after a while the expected buttons appear again...

Sorry no Kodi debug logs but I do see a skip to the beginning and the end of buffer.

If this is newish given all the Android 18.7 issues I am not too concerned about looking into it until 18.7.2 is out.

The arrows aren't supposed to appear for about 10 seconds of video, I don't want people seeking when the buffer is too small.

Well I was just pressing right to skip the commercials....it was doing nothing so I kept pressing...a few times...
Now if up was pressed together I have no clue, I did not press it intentionally...
Possibly the remote is a bit sensitive...

I  see you did an up and then right that could have put you on the beginning of buffer button it's hard to say but it is Kodi telling the addon to seek to 0.
