NextEnd v5 trial release

Checking tonight's NASCAR race I noted it was showing pre on the API and searched it out "Rain postpones Charlotte's 2nd Cup Series race until Thursday" this is why I have safety of a 4 hour maximum, otherwise this could record for 24 hours. I turns out the api does have the new date.

I have updated the dll in post#1 with a new update, when I fixed the server logic for Xfinity Racing I broke the way NextEnd send NASCAR Cup Series information. I confirmed that upcoming races are ok (Xfinity, NASCAR Cup and IndyCar) monitor ok.

I have Sunday's NASCAR Cup race scheduled and NextEnd configured and running on my Wndows and Linux servers again. Will check on the results after the race.

For my Windows server NextEnd worked as expected extending the NASCAR Cup race today. NextEnd log looked normal to me.

With my Linux server it seems that the NextEnd log was incomplete. After checking the recording though it went to the finish so it seems ok. The recording with the Windows server was 7:33 in length but the recording length with the Linux server was 15 min longer.

Hi Martin,

Yesterdays NASCAR Cup race got postponed to today. So I started a guide recording for the race today but NextEnd is not monitoring. There was an error in nextend.log..

I noticed that earlier the problem is the ESPN API keeps the original air date Even if you go to https://www.espn.com/ and click Top Event NASCAR it shows as a June 21st event.

Hi, Martin.

I did some checking into the ESPN API and found that public licenses are no longer issued. Do you have a special license for API access?

That api is no longer available. There is an open one that doesn't require any authentication that sagetv used that I continue to use I may have given you a link to then source. Being undocumented and unsupported though is why i have to guess at some things.
