"Root element is missing" upon trying TV Guide or Recordings

Hi,

Out of nowhere, I'm getting a "Root element is missing" error when trying to open TV Guide or Recordings from the menu. I tried emptying the EPG and deleting config.xml to get a fresh copy but neither made a difference. Any ideas as to what could have gone wrong?

Logs attached, but they don't seem to contain the error, so I've pasted what appears in the error modal.

It's the first time I've seen anyone have an issue with those, so I'm gonna put it down to fluke for now, but I'll keep an eye out for any other reports.

Do any of your channel groups have a & or other special character? Perhaps the last channel group is a problem?

Nope, nothing like that. I also haven't changed any of that, it just stopped working on its own. Deleting those xml files fixed it up. I did notice that one of the xml files seemed corrupted and just had random characters in it. I hope my SSD isn't going bad or something weird like that.

Grabbed them out of the recycle bin.  So one of them isn't "corrupted", just seems to be a stream of null characters.

I'm not sure what sequence of events might have lead to the file becoming corrupt in the first place, but I've made a change so that it will handle it gracefully in future.
