Help with IPTV Guide

Hello,
I am new to Nextpvr and even newer to IPTV.  I found a list of playlists by country on Github.  One is for the US and also has a guide url.  I've imported them both into Nextpvr.  I do receive the channel signals fine, but there is no guide, all blank.  Am I doing something wrong?  I subscribe to schedules direct.  Do I need to link anything with them?  Is there a wiki on how to set this up?  FYI, I have one pc with HDhomerun and Nextpvr that I don't wish to commingle with iptv.  I have a second pc without a tuner and I wish to run the iptv.  What do I need to do?

What do you see if you paste the guide URL into the address bar of a web browser?

It might be that there is a satellite or cable lineup in Schedules Direct that has the channels that you need ... https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/Setup-EPG

The data in that EPG file is for shows broadcast in March.  The links in Github (and elsewhere) for free IPTV are from dodgy sources and should not be relied on.

You may be able to get EPG data for your IPTV channels from Schedules Direct.

Thanks. I have gone to SD and searched for North America, iptv, us, and united states. I consistently receive the same results which are all Canadian, east and west. May I ask if you have a suggestion what to suggest or where else to find url's which are free that I may try out the iptv before thinking of a paid service.

There aren't any legal paid services that I am aware of for IPTV of normal cable channels in the US. Many grey area providers will be just as unreliable as those you find on github.

There won't be SD links for IPTV unless the service is legit. Typically you can use SD lineups from satellite or digital cable for premium and cable station regardless of the tuner source you use in NextPVR.
