Hello,

What is the proper way to install Version 5 on a Windows 7 machine that already has version 4 on it? I installed version 5 yesterday, set up my HDHomerun with all of my channels and today the device is empty, no channels are listed though I do have a guide and can play a channel. I am think maybe a db got hosed somehow.
Anyone have a link or instructions?

Thank you in advance!
Mark

If you run v4 and v5 both on port 8866 you need to change one. Many users have been using 8867 for v5 while they are in transition

I used port 8867 for version 5. Thank you mvallevand.

Thank you Graham. That is what I was looking for.

Also....when filling in the settings, recording folder, buffer folder, etc....Where is the button to save the settings? I do not see it on the same page.

Thank you!

The setting is saved when you "leave" the field ... by, for example, clicking in another field or clicking to a new page ... It's a new-fangled modern thing ... Windows 10 does the same in its Settings ... I expect that there are other Windows 7 folk who yearn for Save buttons like we had in the olden days ... Wink
