Plugins not working??

I've installed a few of the plugins; Weather and RSS reader specifically, but when I restart and open the settings dialog nothing appears. I have noticed the wiki hasn't been worked in awhile.. do plugins still work??

These plugins were only for the old v4 release. V5 doesn’t support plugins.

None of the plugins in the Old Wiki work in v5 - If you click on the link at the top of the forum it will take you to the new Wiki, but I don't think anyone has submitted any plugins yet. -see subs comment.

If you want an all singing, all dancing, PVR, at the moment, Kodi as a front end for NextPVR v5 is probably the best option - there are loads of plugins, and some of them are actually updated - that was what I went for as an upgrade from NextPVR v4.

A lot of the plugins on the old Wiki didn't even work in v4 - I know Weather was one of them.

Bummer. I was using Weather in v4.25, it worked fine for me other than being a little slow to update, but it's not a big deal to lose. I probably used it 2-4x per month at most. Kodi has weather, just have to close knewc.

I had several plugins installed but will really only miss one of them - SYSTEM.

I'm using Kodi with knewc on v5 and we will miss the "System" plugin, we used the heck out of that in previous versions.

What's the best way to show HDD utilization (used/free space) and trigger an EPG Update through Kodi/knewc?

The knewc main dash board shows disk space for default. This has been added to the pvr add-on for Matrix as well. I have never needed to trigger a remote update why would you need this?
