Hi again,

How does one find an updated T2 scanning table? I have found this for what appears to be TVHeadend...

https://github.com/tvheadend/dtv-scan-tables

Would this work?

On the more pressing issue (tv isn't working at all on the media centre) - yes, sorry it is kodi within LibreElec. I have tried the delay startup until network is available however it didn't change anything as the same popup about an unknown error reappears. FYI - it's all on the same machine, NextPVR client connects to NextPVR backend within Docker using 127.0.0.1:8866

Assuming your file is there yes that is one source. You just need to research how to create a bash shell into docker and copy the file into the /usr/share/dvb/dvb-t folder.

Did you try the real IP? Either way for support I'd need your Kodi debug log and zipped NextPVR logs. NextPVR login might be slow but this is x86 so it shouldn't be that bad.

Thanks I’ll give the t2 scanning tables a try later now I know what to do.

I didn’t try the real IP as....

1. I didn’t think it needed an online Ethernet connection to talk internally via the loop back address.
2. The Ethernet address may change
3. This is the main reason.... it all works perfectly when I disable and then enable the NextPVR client. Suggesting 127.0.0.1 is ok?

I already posted the debug Kodi log - https://paste.kodi.tv/saqeciwuvi

Is this insufficient? When you say Next PVR logs, is that the client or server? And how do I obtain those?

Many thanks again

The NextPVR logs will be in wherever you mapped /config/logs. However you can just get them zipped through the browser setup screen.

Ah so server then. I’ll sort that, is the Kodi debug log I previously sent ok or do you need something else?

No that is fine. I just want to make sure that I have everything before I give you the hard stuff.

Here's the NextPVR server logs Smile Good luck, can't wait for this to be sorted as it's a perfect setup on on Windows but I really want it working on this self contained LibreElec machine.

Just thought to add that I'm convinced a manual workaround (not fixing the root cause) would be to toggle the NextPVR client addon to disabled then enabled as that's all I do manually via the GUI after a reboot or sleep and that works fine.

If I could figure out a way to do that automatically that would suffice for now.

Unfortunately you didn't send the matching Kodi logs to give me a better idea of the timing issue.

Certainly something seems off with the docker configuration since from last night the are 3 empty logs which indicate issues starting up. There was never a session that showed as starting until this morning. If you left your Kodi on until then there could be a deadlock. Perhaps dmesg will show you more information.

The Leia addon is not being changed but I will be happy to look at improvements in Matrix. There already is improved reconnect logic built in. sub still needs to approve release the current addon built though and Kodi is not his focus with the limited time.

Hello,

Sorry I thought you said you didn't need me to send the kodi debug logs again. Both logs are here. I had turned off the media centre (as it's pretty useless at the moment).

Kodi debug logs
https://paste.kodi.tv/fotibagudi

Attached are the NextPVR logs.

Oh and here is my config...

docker run -d \
--name nextpvr \
--volume /media/sdb1-ata-Hitachi_HDS72202/Users/Vicky/config:/config \
--volume /media/sdb1-ata-Hitachi_HDS72202/Users/Vicky/Videos/Recorded_TV:/recordings \
--volume /media/sdb1-ata-Hitachi_HDS72202/Users/Vicky/Videos/TV_Buffer:/buffer \
--device /dev/dvb/adapter0 \
--device /dev/dvb/adapter1 \
--device /dev/dvb/adapter2 \
--device /dev/dvb/adapter3 \
--restart unless-stopped \
--publish 8866:8866 \
--publish 16891:16891/udp \
nextpvr/nextpvr_amd64Confusedtable

Hope this helps.
