I did test with the Roku app about a month ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uj3B9eEC9iY and as you can see it worked but I would consider it work in progress.

I downloaded and installed jellyfin for windows using the stable installer 10.6.4 Then added the nextpvr plugin but was not able to get the plugin working. When applying the settings for the plugin it just displayed a black page. Here are the paths that the installer created.

C:\Program Files\Jellyfin\Server\...
C:\Program Data\Jellyfin\Server\...

I created C:\Program Data\Jellyfin\Server\plugins\NextPVR\ folder where the plugin files were placed.

"No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it." Did you confirm your IP and port in settings and make sure your firewall isn't an issue. Maybe confirm with a browser

I confirmed that I can connect to the v5 sever with the browser using http://localhost:8867/index.html. When entering the hostname in jellyfin I excluded the /index.html though. I also noticed that no config file was written so no plugin settings are retained.

Ok looking at the config page it seems I distributed a file that included some git rebase code so setting didn't work.  Does this work?  This is what I submitted so I hope so.

Thank you. Solving issues is much better than waiting for "official" releases, which based on the lack of interest on the jellyfin side may never happen.

I hope they will add it soon, I just commented your PR.
But I think there is nothing I can do to speed it up...

I got the NextPVR plugin set up with Jellyfin and all is working fine. Added the Roku app to my tv and can watch live tv. Timeshifting seems to work great.

Wish it had the same features as the web app though. No TV guide, can't start a recording. Definitely work in progress and according to their forum there is only one part time Roku developer. Oh well.

I am running Jellyfin 10.6.4 and NextPVR 5.0.8. I installed NextPVR plugin in Jellyfin thourgh dashboard>Plugin. Didn't work. My jellyfin installation has no plugin folders anywhere. But I read here to create folders manually and copy the files from the zip file. Could you please elaborate where do I need to create folders in Windows?
