no audio

Sometimes a recorded show has no audio, this happens about 1 in every 10 shows. Does anyone have any idea what causes this? Let me know if you need more info. on my system.

I had a problem like this w/ old pvr-150 drivers. Went away w/ newer ones (which I think are listed as the beta ones on their site). It was a conflict w/ IR Remote at the hardware, I think.

Did you try capone's suggestion of newer drivers?

I had this problem a few weeks back and updated teh drives to the latest beta versions from Hauppauge and it fixed the problem. They say the problem is limited to the PVR150MCE, but I had the problem on the PVR150 on Win2K.

It's sounding like you can have this problem w/ the newest drivers, too. I know there's a beta fix on the haup site for their newest release.

Bottom line is try drievrs until you find the ones that work best for you. I wish it were less methodical than that.
