over the air EPG half missing

Hi sub,

I gave this a try.
I found the binary in /usr/local/bin
It created a 0 length file which did not grow.
I tried running it as root, which made no difference.
I tried using NPVR to set a channel and stream it, but then the config binary failed because the tuner was locked.
I looked through the options for hdhomerun_config, but I dont know enough about it to find the answer.
Does the tuner need to be set to a channel before the capture?

OK progress.
I hope this is useful.
I used NPVR to set a tuner to ITV, then i did a tuner status to get the channel info.
Then I ran this script.
/usr/local/bin/hdhomerun_config 12519937 set /tuner3/channel t8dvbt:506000000
/usr/local/bin/hdhomerun_config 12519937 set /tuner3/filter "0x0000-0x1FFF"
/usr/local/bin/hdhomerun_config 12519937 save /tuner3 capture.ts
I let it run for 20 or 30 seconds, which made a capture file of about 100mb.
I have uploaded that to the same location I shared with you before.

As a bonus, I learned enough to make this script:
/usr/local/bin/hdhomerun_config 12519937 get /tuner0/status
/usr/local/bin/hdhomerun_config 12519937 get /tuner1/status
/usr/local/bin/hdhomerun_config 12519937 get /tuner2/status
/usr/local/bin/hdhomerun_config 12519937 get /tuner3/status
which, if run while NPVR is using a tuner, will give the signal strength - which is very good - and hopefully indicates that the retune I did will resolve the glitches in recordings from channel 4.

I got the file, but was having issues using it as a fake source for my HDHR...then I got distracted with day job stuff, and haven't been back to it yet. Sorry!
