trouble with iOS 14.2

Just to clarify my server is still with 4.2.4 release, but the issue on the Apple TV 4K occured when it was automatically upgraded to iOS 14.2

Ah right...I'm guessing it will be to do with this.

I kept my server in 4.2.4 as NscriptHelper was not working the way I wanted in 5.x
On my server I register on an SSD disk , then I have a batch which copy it on a 3Gbytes HDD, the batch uses NscriptHelper to rename the file to be with the new location in the nextpvr db

Honestly, it's probably easier for me to help you with the NScriptHelper stuff than anything related to v4 these days.

I have 2 other machines with v5 on it,, I tried to use them as server and it behaves exactly the same, no way to stop playing, exitin/coming back it is back to the playing wher it left
so both V4 and V5 server exhibit the same behavoir with the apple TV 4K v3.1 iOS14.2

That is really odd. I'm not seeing anything like that here.

Is it the same with live tv or recordings?

same with live TV and recording. My V5 server is 5.0.5 , the V4 is 4.2.4 , so not the latest version for both of them

If I look at the V5 server with my chromebook (web) I can stop it restart the recording or the live

If you press the touch pad on the remote, does it pause playback?

If it's something you know how to do, is there any chance you could temporarily make the server accessible on a external port, and I could try connecting to it from here? If so, PM my the address, port and pin number.
