Watching in-progress recording goes past end of recording

NextPVR will be forcing an update to Kodi every time the backend playback position changed from any client. I honestly don't know what Kodi is doing with this information in the Leia or Matrix database.

The last time I test this the there indicators are right in PVR Recordings like we tested. Are you saying that is no longer the case?

Toggling the Watched status is not working and watching part of a recording seems to mark it as Watched so it does seem to behaving differently now.

It looks like it works temporarily until I restart Kodi. For example, I mark an episode unwatched and then restart Kodi and it reverts back to watched. Same with the progress. This is with a local database.

Your right from what I see mark as unwatched doesn't make it back to the addon from Kodi and I will need to look at the Kodi backend code.

I watch a few minutes of the recording and it shows the progress bar as expected, but when I restart Kodi it seems to lose the progress and it is marked as (fully) watched.

I have no idea what has changed since the last time we looked at it but it is definitely not working now.

I've found the source of the issue in beta 2.

On watched Kodi increments a play count and sets 0 as the playback position

On unwatch Kodi doesn't send anything.

Still figuring out how to handle this. I feel that Kodi behaviour is wrong but their dev doesn't agree. I have a work around of storing play counts internally but I hope that won't be necessary.

@cncb Do you mind giving this a try with and without MySQL?  It does work better with beta two for me. I've tried things like unwatch and reset resume successful.
