A side note, it will also generate a lot of channel groups - which some may also want to cull if not all groups are being watched.

I have noticed something kind of strange with this Pluto EXTRA.
After doing a scan for channels, several of the Pluto channels were duplicated and listed such as ch xxx & ch xxx.1.
In the Pluto News group for instance, there are duplicates 217 & 217.1, 221 & 221.1, 232 & 232.1, and 236 & 236.1. With the exception of 217, channels xxx will not stream, but xxx.1 will stream. Any ideas why?
There are lots of groups created and so there is a little maintenance. That is standard are IPTV too. I have no control over the EXTRA group that sub makes.
As for the duplicates I have noticed the same thing that only the .1 channel plays but the duplicates are in the source list so I just assign a minor number. I will also assign the minor number if there is an existing channel in the NextPVR database. I have no idea why the first one doesn't play but maybe with more experience we will learn more about Pluto. For safety I think including them is better.
I'm in the UK. Using Windows. Everything has gone great. No duplicate channels as of yet. (138 Channels)
I want to give this a good testing before having the courage to do an internal scan within NPVR.
This is something I've wanted within NPVR for a long time. It's not often you get the chance just to say thank you. So thank you for this and your easy to use .deb installer for linux.
Of course thanks to the main man sub too.
Thanks for the feedback. Internal scan of extra file will simply reload the extra file that created and it is more for removing channel not adding new ones. Typically it is better to start with removing unwanted groups.
