Thumbnails not the same size in Recordings

Don't know if intentionally but not all thumbnails are the same size when viewing all recordings.
I think it would be nicer if all thumbnails are same size.

I have seen this too. There is one program I record that has a thumbnail that is twice the vertical aspect of all the others. There has been one time when I loaded the page that even they were displayed as the same size as the others, which looked really nice. But that was only once out of many times. Hope this helps.

The strange thing is that if you do a resize of the browserwindow (ctrl +/-) it resizes correctly and stays correct. If you refresh (ctrl-F5) it goes bad again.

This is happening because it's struggling to find the correct types of artwork for your shows. The artwork sites are mainly geared towards english searches, and this is hitting your results pretty hard.

thetvdb does has some multi-lingual support, but I'm not sure good/bad it's Dutch support is. Also, unfortunately thetvdb going away in the near future.

The situation you describe with the resize is my attempt at trying to force it to crop the picture to make it fit when it can't find the correct sized artwork, but I've obviously not quite got it right yet. I'll put it on my list to revist.

Yeah, it can happen with english shows too, where it can't find artwork...it's just much more common with non-english shows. In janoonk screenshots above, he has had a pretty bad run with artwork, with none of those shows appearing to matched high quality artwork.

What are some shows you're seeing it with?

What epg source are you using? Most people in North America are using Schedules Direct, which generally gives good artwork for pretty much all shows.

I'm using SD. It's for a local news program.

If it's not too difficult, when images are forced to comply to a standard size might I suggest adding being able to hover and see the uncropped image? In case of the attached image I don't really care that it is cut off, but some images might benefit from being able to display the entire thing when hovered.

I just noticed that when clicking said errant thumbnail is shown completely in a thumbnail sized image. Might be easier to force them to obey a vertical limit.

Just noticed that even though program thumbnails are now forced into a standard aspect ratio on the Recent and Upcoming recordings page, when clicking on an upcoming recording and then returning to the previous page the rogue thumbnails are displayed in their full aspects.
