NextPVR hangs when tuning to offline channel?

Some ATSC channels don't broadcast 24/7.

When watching live TV, if I accidentally tune to one of them, the NextPVR 4 client hangs. It's inconvenient when using an IR remote, as it no longer answers to any remote command, not even to try to tune to another channel. The up/down arrows that I have mapped to buttons on my remote no longer have any effect.



I have to use my wireless keyboard/mouse. The following steps do technically work.
1. right click in black screen area
2. wait about 5 seconds for pop-up menu
3. double click another channel
4. wait about 5 seconds again
5. new channel finally comes up

I have attached a log of a session when I just tried to tune to KTVUDT2 which was offline and this hang happened. I just closed the app afterwards using the wireless keyboard/mouse.

In that case, NextPVR comes back to the same offline channel the next time one tries to watch live TV, necessitating the above steps to be employed. I think if the channel was not tuned correctly, NextPVR shouldn't save it and come back to the same channel the next time around.

Apologies ... I failed to notice that this is posted in the V4 sub-forum ... It is not likely that there will be any further updates or bug fixes for NextPVR V4.
