Latest TvOS NextPvr app won't connect manually

Yes I understood what you meant. I'll restate, the Atv4k (Apple TV) doesn't have Edge, Safari, Firefox or Chome as an app. So I can't do any programming or watch live streams or recordings thru the NextPvr server. With the rapid growth of IoT devices, that require access to both the local network and the internet to function, i.e. thermostats, flood sensors, smart smoke detectors, segmenting a local network is common. I guess the answer is "no" we're not going to fix the AppleTv app even though the "manual server ip" feature is available on the iPhone, iPad and Atv platforms.

I certainly don't see sub saying "No" anywhere. I understand the need for local + internet, but 2 local sub nets is a much rarer use case so I was offering the solution of moving to one subnet as a potential interim solution

Kodi v19 is another option.

I will look at it again when I can. I've got some complications with the version of macOS I'm having to run on my laptop for work at the moment.

Hopefully when this is done it will allow manual entry of both public and private addresses so remote access is possible as well. Have another case use but waiting cause I don’t want to build a second box (instance) and have to remotely support and upgrade it. Thanks.
