NextPVR Android client now available

A new build is up on the Play Store, which will hopefully resolve your issue.

Thanks for the new build.  It seems to have fixed it on my Sony TV (android 8), but still the same problem on my Mi TV stick (android 9).

I have uninstalled, cleared data and re-installed the new version, but when selecting a program in the guide I can't select any of the 3 options (watch, record once, record series).  On the Sony TV a black highlighted box appears which can be moved between the 3.

Nvidia Shield TV / Android 9, after last update, I can now see highlights on the channels page and on guide page.  However after selecting program to watch on guide page, I cannot select nor highlight the 3 options (watch, record once, record series).

Hi. I'm having a similar issue with not being able to select to watch a previous recording. Selections not highlighting. I'm guessing it's associated with that above issue. Just thought I'd mention it's not just the guide. Thanks so much for all your work on this.

Hi, I'd like to say I appreciate the work done to put NextPVR together but i have a question in regards to what is in the pipeworks.

The NextPVR Android TV app is buggy & i seem to suffer from connection dropouts along with a few other things but for the most part it works. However I wanted to know if there was any plan to make the nextpvr server directly compatible with the Android TV Live channels app which doesn't seem to have any issues. It also has a much nicer interface that shows the program info in a really great way. Can this be an option going forward?

There is no NextPVR Android TV app yet. There is a phone and tablet app that is being used on Android TV and TV boxes but it isnt optimized for a 10' interface.

Speaking for myself, sub no doubt has his own thoughts, I've looked at creating the Android service needed for live channels but when I compare it with what I can do with Android Kodi I question why it is worth spending time on a limited use product. It is hard to ignore regular Android and Fire TV users with yet another Android offering

I can get it to work with the Live Channels app using PVR Live but it has A/V sync issues i don't get at all with the nextPVR app.

I have no love for the PVR Live application I feel the author could only have reverse engineered the Kodi addon source and then charged users for it with no acknowledgments of open source.

I purchased the Nextpvr app on android, as it said it would work with my chrome cast.
How do i navigate to watch and record.
I am running Nextpvr on a linux box

I don't have a chrome cast, so I'm pretty sure the app description didn't say anything about chrome cast.
