OK, thanks for taking a look, Martin.

Hopefully sub will have a chance to look at it soon.

If I can be of any more help, just holler.

It kind of looks like it hasn't got as far as trying to use the tuner, but doesn't like something about the http request coming from the NextPVR server, telling it to record.

In that log, it looks like it's sent the request to both adapters, and neither has liked the request.

Please reproduce it with this updated NShared.dll, which adds some additional logging.

OK, thanks, sub. I'll give it a shot next time the show comes on.

Also...per Martin's request, I deleted the channels on adapter0 and re-scanned it. As expected, it found the same set of channels as before (and same as for adapter1). When it loaded the guide from Schedules Direct, it of course found the same stuff so now the guide shows each channel twice. Perhaps that's why it looks to be asking both adapters? Just guessing.

Should I go back and delete them both, rescan one adapter and them copy it to the other before I try with then new dll? Or leave it as-is?

You can simply merge the two channels from Settings Channels Advanced Tools,

I tried that and all the channels disappeared except the first channel in the list so there was only one channel left.    ??????

Anyway, I then deleted all the channels and scanned for channels in adapter0 and saved them. Then I copied them to adapter1 like I've done many times before and loaded the guide. At least that seems to work. It all looks normal.

Luckily the show with the issue (one of them anyway) was on a bit later so I set it to record and got the usual error. Logs attached.

There's an error in there again about not finding a tuning file for adapter0. I don't know what that's about...it will record two shows at once (doing so as we speak) so both adapters must be working.

This is with the new NShared.dll file in place...

mark@nextpvr:~$ ls -l /opt/nextpvr/system/NSh*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 970752 May  4 14:49 /opt/nextpvr/system/NShared.dll
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 962048 Mar 29 10:05 /opt/nextpvr/system/NShared.dll.old

Hope this helps.

Because of what I've seen as a bug I still suggest not copying tuners on Linux.

I am getting this same error. I have tried to record this particular program 5 times over the last week, the same error always occurs. I have successfully recorded other programs on the same channel. It was mentioned earlier that failed programs had a "'" in the title - this one has a ":", for what it's worth. Logs attached, error occurs at 2021-07-28 10:58:00.550

Sub would need to see why the socket is closing so soon. Perhaps the truncated filename is still too big?
