android client bluestacks

I am having trouble connecting remotley using the android app on a windows pc using bluestacks.
I can connect to the same server no problem on my iphone, but not on his app.
It just says failed to connect to nextpvr check the server is running and try again.
Any ideas?

If bluestacks stuff works like a VM, it maybe one some other virtual subnet, so the UDP network discovery packets aren't making it to the NextPVR server.

Ok, is there any other way that works to view nextpvr on a windows pc remotley?

You can manually add a server, instead of it needing to be automatically detected.

thats what I'm doing already, I've been putting in my external IP address
which works on my iphone, but not on my pc in bluestacks

You’ll probably need to supply the NextPVR logs, and let me know what time you attempted to login, so I know where to check in the logs.

The Android app and the Apple IOS app are different so you can't compare them.

From the same Windows PC with Bluestacks when you are remote can you access NextPVR via a browser, that would be where I start.
