Black Screen. trying to access any live tv

Hi
I have just had to reinstall win10. NextPvr was working fine but after the reinstall of Nextpvr, i cannot access any tv channels.
i also seem to have to start the Nextpvr server manually.

From the nextpvr web browser I can see the message
Device Starting. Please Wait.Then streaming failed Transcoder exited.
I have tried various decoders, Lav, Microsft FFDSHOW TO NO AVAIL.

i can see in the logs a skin no loading message. I can also see a playback stopped mesage


Not sure what all this means. Any help much appreciated

Are you sure you installed the 32bit version of LAV for audio and for video?

There were 3 optioons
.75.1 installer
.75 x64 zip
.75 x86 zip

I used the first option with the installer.
I have now got the microsoft, ffdshow and lav decoders and i have used various combinations but still not getting to the stage where my device starts and i stream the channel.
i have had the three tuners installed(hauppauge win88 dvbt ) for a number of years. i have had the black screen multiple times in the past and its normally the decoders but this time i am hitting a brick wall.
I remember once i had to manually register the filters via command line. Do i have to do that again if i reinstall window?.

Problem seems to be that since the reinstall of windows, no videos will play. videos i know worked in the past. new recordings on nextpvr.
i am going to download vlc and then check on google if any solutions.

When given an option on the first choice install the 32 bit decoder you can install the 64 bit decoder but it won't be used by NextPVR

For your tuners do they work with WinTV?

If you install NextPVR it registers the decoders, if you reinstalled Windows reinstall NextPVR too.

I have sorted it. Completely did a fresh install removing all components of Nextpvr.
I uninstalled from device manager my three devices and reinstalled them.
I did a fresh install of nextpvr and Voia, all working again.
Thanks for your help Martin. I appreciate it. I was getting moreand more frustrated espeially when i was starting to get the unhandled exception dialog which is impossible to close down without task manager or three finger salute
